Parents enrolling children and teens are reassured to know that classes are conducted by instructors who expect best behavior, uphold rules and provide continuous supervision. Master Bartley started Taekwondo in 1985 with Kee's Taekwondo, moved to Edmonton in 1989 and started training with Master Sung Lee. Master Bartley has had his own school now for 10 years and it is growing larger and stronger yearly.
Quote from Master Bartley: " There is no "I Can't" in our school. Anything can be done with the proper effort, guidance and of course time."
 
Alaine
Instructor - 2nd Dan Black Belt - WTF
 

Alaine began with Elite Taekwondo at the tender age of 10, and has since achieved her 2nd degree black belt. Part of the instructor team for over three years, she teaches both beginner and advanced childrens' classes.

As she continues to train for her 3rd degree black belt, Alaine enjoys watching her students grow and progress along with her.

Alain Ma'am as also certified as a Instructor with the International F.A.S.T. Defense™ Association.

Alaine Ma'am is a 2nd Degree Black Belt, certified with the World Taekwondo Federation.
 
Rhonda S
Pee Wee Instructor - 2nd Dan Black Belt - WTF

Rhonda Ma'am has over 10 years of Martial Arts training. She has been part of the instructor team for over five years teaching some of the youngest of the Elite students ... the Lil'Dragons.

Rhonda Ma'am has continued to develop this program and works with both the children and parents to keep a clear understanding of the circumlunar for the Lil'Dragons. She enjoys watching her students move up and progress to Black Belt.

Rhonda Ma'am is a 2nd Degree Black Belt, certified with the World Taekwondo Federation.
 
Judi Lee

Judi Has been described as a "caring, helpful, sweet person". but don't let the exterior fool you, she is one of the hardest working people we have. Come out of Judi Ma'ams class and you WILL be sweaty smiling and tired.
 
Azra
PeeWee Instructor - 1st Poome Black Belt - WTF

Azra Ma'am has been at our school for over four years. Starting out at yellow belt she worked her way up the ranks and achieved Black Belt at the age of 15 years.

Azra Ma'am loves to compete in the sparring part of the Martial Arts. She also loves teaching her Lil'Dragons program which is from three to four years of age. This program was introduced this year and has taken off with lots of fun for the kids.

Azra Ma'am, goals are to continue with the Lil'Dragons and work on achieving her second dan Black Belt.

Azra Ma'am is a 1st Poome Black Belt, certified with the World Taekwondo Federation.
 
Henrique Stefani
Instructor - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Henrique was born in Brazil in the state of São Paulo. He has his degree in Animal Science, married, and has a wonderful daughter, all from Brazil.

Since 4 years old Henrique trained in many Martial arts, starting with Taekwondo, Karate, Muay-thai, Capoeira, Judô but in January 1995 he started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, found his true calling and never stopped.

.Henrique received his black-belt from Hemerson Navarro (Black-belt from Renato Tavares Team), taught in some academies in Brazil, in 2006 he taught in the USA and now brings Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Elite Taekwondo.

We are very excited about having Henrique Sir join our team. There are only 2 other Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts in all of Alberta so we feel very fortunate to have Henrique at our school. Come on out and watch a class to see a Master at work
